Easy Organic

Okay, so some people might think that there is way too much work in finding and eating organic food! If you are one of those misinformed persons, there is even an easier way to satisfy your body's needs. For those of you easing into an organic and natural lifestyle, Village Foods is perfect. Even though their logo says it all: I will give you the 411.They are located in Bryan down Briarcrest Dr. and is worth deviating from your usual route to H.E.B or Walmart! My freshman year I read about this grocery store and set out to find it, it was close (although my lack of directions added about 20 minutes) and was college student budget friendly! So many coupons just seemed to fall into my lap from them, they are everywhere. I found some in my Texas A&M planner, a local newspaper, and they even came on campus offering coupons AND free samples to raise awareness for healthy living! I can't ever get sick of coupons, nor do I think any student can, and I think Village Foods knows that because they have a tab just for more coupons on their site >> www.villagefoods.com!

VF is locally owned and did you know that for every $1 you spend locally, 45 cents stays in the community?  If you shop at a chain, the community only keeps 14 cents (I learned that on their website-you should seriously check it out). Like I previously said this store is perfect for beginners. They also have a tab on their website of easy recipes using their specialty foods incase you are not so familiar. The recipes will make you more comfortable using natural and organic ingredients and allow you to experiment a little :).

This website caters to your every need and is extremely useful, so I am going to tell you again..visit the website and click around!

Ps. The Brazos Valley Farmers Market meets is in front VF..more info on that next time!
